The BIG University Bookstore Holiday Shopping Weekend is this Friday and Saturday (Dec 4,5) at both Cheney and Spokane locations! This in-store ONLY sale (meaning discounts do NOT apply to internet orders) means big savings on stuff like EWU clothing and gifts, iPods, general gifts, electronics, supplies and much, much more. Our best discounts of the year--and two days only! Get all your Eastern gifts taken care of in one fell swoop!

Speaking of Swoop, EWU's mascot will be visiting here Friday! We'll also have live models showing off EWU clothing, and free cookies and drinks for our shoppers.

Halloween Costume Contest Success!

Thanks to everyone that participated in the first annual EWU Bookstore Halloween Costume Contest! We had so much fun seeing what creative and fun costumes students, staff and faculty came up with. We photographed every entrant (photos here) and each entrant got a set of Skullcandy ear buds, courtesy of Adobe Systems Inc!

By a vote of all Bookstore employees, Mike Mosier won Best Costume. He's featured here with the photo of his costume, a Centaur, and the Dakine backpack he picked up for the Grand Prize!

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! Let's do it again next year!

Going to the Game this Saturday in Seattle?

We'll be there too! The University Bookstore is bringing our merchandise on the road this Saturday and will have a booth at Qwest Field for the Showdown on the Sound game! Homecoming Parade Participants!

We were thrilled to participate in this year's Homecoming Parade in downtown Cheney! Clifford the Big Red Dog came to visit before his official visit for January's Children Program to hand out candy with his friends to all the children along the parade route. We thank everyone for coming out in rainy, chilly weather for an evening of fun and school spirit!

Congratulations to our winners for First Weekend's Bookstore Drawing! Kristen Olenick (pictured) won the Grand Prize--her Fall Textbooks paid for!

Keirstyn Johnson won the Dakine backpack and Dawn Chandos won a EWU Blanket.
